The much larger 2 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan at Kapalua Golf Villas features an interior area of 1,344 and a lanai of 350 to 507 square feet. These 2 bedroom suites have a second-floor loft area which has a bedroom, full bath, and a private lanai. The spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath floor plan has a total 1,700 square feet of interior living area.
The Kapalua Resort® has a successful on-site rental program. The Kapalua Gold Program includes the condos at Kapalua Bay Villas, Kapalua Golf Villas and Kapalua Ridge into it's program and offers golf packages, complimentary tennis, full service concierge, 24-hour reception area and charging privileges at the resort's shops and restaurants.
One of the finest restaurants featuring Hawaiian cuisine is The Plantation House located by the Plantation Golf Course Fairways. Owners will enjoy reduced golf rates at The Plantation Course and The Bay Course, as well as at the tennis facility. The law allows just one (1) home exemption; if a husband and wife live apart and own separate homes, they shall be entitled to one exemption, to be apportioned between each of their homes in proportion to the value.
In order to qualify for a home exemption, you must own and occupy the property as your principal residence with the intent to reside there a minimum of 270 days in a calendar year.
The home exemption is deducted from the assessed value and the homeowner is taxed on the balance. Current home exemption of $200,000 applies to all homeowners regardless of age.
