2011 October Kihei Condo Stats

The following Kihei condo statistics cover the period of October 1-31, 2011. The number of active listings in October 2011 were 279 units with a days on market (DOM) of 192 days. There were 99 pending escrows with an average DOM of 182 days and an average list price of $307,823. Confirmed 2011 sales totalled 22 with an average DOM of 190 days, average list price of $294,563, average sales price of $283,768 and a median sales price of $258,750, resulting in a decline of 3.7% from the asking price. Where as in October 2010 there were 24 sales with 132 DOM, average list price of $281,556, average sales price of $262,275 and an average median sales price of $224,800. Overall the Kihei condominium market experienced increases of 4.5% in the average list price, 7.6% in the average sales price and 13.2% in the median sales price.
